Deliverables
Strategic IT partner
Intres’ business and own organization are constantly moving. The concern is on a permanent search for new structures. Intres has an ambition for structuring processes, streamlining communication lines and for keeping a clear view on both backoffice and member details. Qurius has performed an analysis, resulting in a blueprint of Intres’ desired ways of information supply. This blueprint is utilized to give direction to and to execute new IT projects. Intres has chosen for a Microsoft approach with Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics AX (former Axapta) as critical parts.
Optimizing workflows
By implementing SharePoint, Intres is able to optimize workflows, structurize workflow intensive processes and cooperate efficiently. A good example is formed by the many purchasing events which Intres organizes for adjoined retailers. Organizing such a purchasing event requires a lot of communication and mutual alignment with suppliers, buyers and managers of both Intres and associated members. This process is now supported by Microsoft SharePoint. Retailers order their items on these events, after which the items concerned are delivered to their stores. Qurius has realized an integration between SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics AX, allowing Intres to structurize and monitor all transactions and processes concerned with these events.
After the first success stories, Intres has profited from SharePoint functionality in order to support critical actions. One example is the creation, printing and spreading of marketing material and brochures. By use of SharePoint technology, Qurius has structured and anchored the processes concerned. The mutual communication goes swifter, information is shared properly and the progress of all brochures has been made clear, allowing Intres to manage its processes more efficiently.
Continued optimization
In order to remain a capable, well assisting supplier to Intres, Qurius will continue to improve the information supply for Intres by implementing new SharePoint initiatives. This way, Qurius will contribute to Intres’ advanced position on the retail service market.
